Which is a shame, because a good, fresh dry vermouth does wonders for a cocktail, and many good vermouths are also good and cheap.

One of my favorite drinks to order at restaurants! I like to order it extra dirty: In a shaker with ice, pour in: 2 oz. of Vodka (I prefer Tito’s) 0.5 - 1.5 oz of olive juice to taste (I use Spanish olive juice or Dirty Sue Olive Juice) Tiny splash of Dry Vermouth (I prefer Martini Rossi) Shake it extremely hard for 30-45 seconds. Pour into your martini glass of choice! Garnish with your preferred olives (I love gorgonzola stuffed) on a metal toothpick.
