Our favourites include: 〰 Wetting and applying conditioner before swimming in the ocean or pool 〰 Rinsing out slat water and chlorine immediately post-swim 〰 Protective styles and braids on days in the sun 〰 Hats! 〰 Hair products that offer SPF for our precious curls (the Iraba hair lotion😉)
Did you know you can use our Tangle Melt Conditioner as a co-wash? We're HUGE fans of co-washing over here. Whether it be a refresh or curls that simply don't love shampoo, a co-wash is always beneficial. If you've never co-washed before, here's a run down: 👉🏾 Soak your hair 👉🏾 Apply our conditioner to your scalp and massage like you would shampoo 👉🏾 Move down to the ends of your hair carefully detangling 👉🏾 Lightly rinse and squeeze off the excess water
Weighed down curls when you layer multiple styling products? Rather than only thinking about the quantity of each product individually, think about how all the products will eventually build up on your curls. So, next wash day, instead of applying each product to your curls individually. Try mixing them together in your hands. This will give you a better idea of how much you're really using, and how much to add or remove of each styler. Then mix and apply to your curl and coils. 📸 nappy
