On ANZAC Day a special Ode is read out. This resource provides the Ode written in its entirety on the first page and then an activity where students are required to cut out the words, one line at a time before re-piecing it back together in the correct order.

Anzac Day art I created. Background is cut up pieces of The Ode and The Last Post, covered with a wash of water colours. Children were then able to add as many or as little poppies as they wanted with red and green paper. They then used sharpies to outline their poppies and stems.
