Inukshuk- a stone landmark or cairn used for navigation, as a point of reference, a marker for travel routes, fishing places, camps, hunting grounds, places of veneration, drift fences used in hunting or as a food cache.  They are all over Ontario, Canada.

The sun begins to set on an inukshuk situated on the shores of Hudson Bay in the town of Churchill, Manitoba. The inukshuk is a stone landmark traditionally used by northern aboriginal peoples to mark a route through the tundra of the arctic.
