Our Study of Meteghan, Nova Scotia

Students really seemed to enjoy themselves during our Acadian unit. We explored the lifestyle of the people in Meteghan. A few highlights: We learned about the importance of the ocean to the people of Meteghan. Catching lobster is one of the major industries for the region. Aren't our lobster traps nifty?!

Grade 2 Inchies

This is a recent inchie project I did with Grade 2. It relates to the social studies curriculum where they learn about: - the Arctic - the Acadians - the Ukraine Inchie projects are so adaptable. I use them constantly and they are always a hit with the kids.
