Dungeness crab stir-fry. Cut crab into sections and clean. Bring sesame oil in a wok up to high heat. Add chopped ginger, garlic and red Thai peppers. Add crab to wok and stir often. Add diced green onion, saving half for presentation. I added sriracha and Maggie sauce towards the end. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Mutton curry - inspired by Rick Stein. As I watched the show, I realized how complex curries are to make from scratch. As the show was focused on different regions in India, the small but significant differences were astounding. I wanted to make one curry that included all of those spices with my additions based on Sri Lankan mutton curry . If anyone is interested, I can share the recipe. Be warned, the spices alone number about 20 to 30!
