I use Canon 80D + Tokina 11-20mm on 11mm to shoot 4 photos of f8 at iso 100 for ground and city and lights. For Milky way I had to turn 180° away form city where it actually was and it was much much darker location. I shoot with the same camera but f2.8 and iso 1600 for 25 sec exposure. Then I combine those 5 into single one. Hope you like it!
Milky Way Nubble Light
From last nights trip out to Nubble Light. I had a vision in my head that the Milky Way would rise over the Nubble Light in just about this manner. Had to wait until a relatively cloud free night with a late rising moon to get this shot here. Still not great conditions, there was a heavy muddy haze hanging right over the ocean on the horizon and a few stray clouds passing by as you can see here.
