Raised garden boxes are made of 5' and 6' fence boards. They are lined with dimple basement wrap. This keeps the boards from being in constant contact with moist soil. And when the do get wet it allows the air to dry out the boards. They've gone through three seasons now and have held up great to severe winters and rainfall. There are no bottoms in these. The 2x4's are used to not only attach all the boards to. But are 12"s longer with points cut into them. This acts as an anchor.

After I capped the boxes. Not only does this make it look nicer it gives strength to them as well. As well if gives you something to hold on to when you're bent over weeding.

Trying a new way to water my garden. I'll post a pic of what I ended up with.
