For those that think Beaujolais is simply the wimpy stuff you see every November. This is serious wine. Earthy, meaty, dark fruit and notes of black tea. Deeeeeep. And Organic. $28.51 at Cristall & Luckett or online.
An Italian grape grown in California! Dry and crisp with HUGE floral and lime aromas/flavours. I used this in two wine dinners last year - once with oysters rockefeller and the other with a clam/chorizo sausage linguine. Yeppp! $16.34 at Harvest Wines
I love the South of France. It can give great wines like this one at fantastic prices (and I love the label too!). Bright notes of chocolate/mocha/dark fruit with a silky mouthfeel. $16 at Harvest Wines
