These photos show the process I have used to make my faux abalone canes. I love the tutorial in Carol Blackburn's book, Making Polymer Clay Beads. I just love her whole book. I have made some slight changes in color choices and filling in holes in the cane, otherwise I have to give Carol all the credit for these ideas.
