I also changed the sound of the guitar by replacing the neck and bridge pickups with a set of Seymour Duncan Lipstick pickups. made for Stratocasters. I paid more for them then I did for the guitar hahahahaha
This guitar was originally a pink Fender Stratocaster...cheap model, manufactured in Indonesia. I decided to strip the paint, and when I saw how nice the wood looked, the plan to repaint was abandoned. I asked my friend, Food Fortunata, if he would be interested in creating some wonderful custom art for this project. He was, so I sent him three template pieces to fill with some spectacular imagery. I used avery clear full sheet labels to transfer the art to the guitar body.
Toledo electric guitar from mid-late 1960's. These student guitars were manufactured in Japan, and commissioned by the Canadian Conservatory of Music.
