Quebec City, Canada: lies at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and St. Charles rivers. Mostly French speaking, and the town is the center of French Canada. It is an important port, and industrial, cultural, service, and tourist center. Historic old Quebec, was named a World Heritage Site. I visited this glorious place on a bus tour from one end of Canada to the other in 2006. It was the only Canadian city that was special enough to visit twice.
