Elephant Planters - Based on Nepalese originals, this is one of our most complex pots to make, incorporating hand-pressed and throwing techniques, plus a large amount of hand modelling. The palanquin and head dress on each elephant has its own unique decoration, made up from various Indian motifs. The introduction of the smaller size has resulted in terracotta herds being seen in The Home Counties!
