Remembrance Day Wreath. My grade 5 class and I discussed Remembrance Day, its importance, what we remember, sacrifices that were made and hopes and dreams for the future. On each dove the students wrote their own hope and dream for the future. Once they were done, they decorated their poppy which was added amongst the doves. This activity really got the students thinking.
