I remember making Valentine's with this saying when I student taught 1st grade (I think I figured out that those kids are in 9th grade now!) I remember the Valentines the 1st graders made were more like posters with lots of construction paper (I wish I had a picture because I remember them being very nice) but I wanted to keep it simple for C and just used some washable paint and printer paper. I love exploring great new art techniques and projects with Ethan and I just love seeing what fabulous ideas the Twodaloo gang have come up with each week! Our letter "C" week was actually two weeks -- I blame this on a super busy weekend last weekend that left me virtually no time to swap out the new curriculum. It worked out okay, though, because Ethan was really into the "C" week tot trays and, well, all of the cats in our lesson plan. (We have four cats at home, so he's a little obsessed.)
