Maryse Carmichael is an accomplished pilot who became the first woman in Canadian history selected to fly with the famous Snowbirds Aerobatic Team. In November 2000 she was chosen to fly 3 position with the 431 Air Demonstration Squadron.
General Brock ordered this hat but it did not reach Canada until after Brock’s death. During the general’s funerals in 1824 and the hat was placed on the coffins. Courtesy of Niagara Historic Society & Museum
