Map of the Day ... I snapped this map view of Ottawa because of the blue border. It marks the eastern boundary township of Nepean in 1863, when the township extended right around the city, all the way over to the the Rideau River. Check out the "Corporation Line," which appears to have been around Gladstone (but not called Gladstone yet because the Prime Minister of that name had not been Prime Minister yet.) Note the huge sections on either side of the Rideau Canal owned by Mssrs. Stewart…
