Key Principles for Selling without Being Salesy
No one likes to be put into the position where they are feeling like they're being pressured to purchase something they weren't prepared to or didn't want. As photographers, we also don't want to feel like we're putting people in that position! So many people dismiss IPS as not for them because they think they have to use icky sales tactics to make profitable sales to clients. But this is NOT TRUE. There are three key principles to selling artwork to your client with no one feeling awkward or pressured. For the same of having more joy in my life, I've titled them the three "E"s Education, Expertise and Empathy.
