Canada eh!

Yes, I am Canadian and damn proud of it. We do not live in Igloos, and it only snows a little in my hometown.

Montreal - Only place i would want to live in the winter. Snow covered, but still colorful and happy.

Canada being Canada

Canada being Canada

As the harsh winter washes over us, it's amazing images like this that remind us to go outside and enjoy the majesty of snow and ice. Actually, let someone else go outside and take photos. It's cold.

Clearly Canadian

I'm not a fan of flavored water, but I LOVED Clearly Canadian in high school.

Grist mill is located at King's Landing Historical Settlement near Fredricton - New Brunswick, Canada.

We have been to Kings Landing Historical Village in New Brunswick Canada a couple of times. Well worth the visit and do take the kids along.

One of the most intriguing rock formations recently discovered by Google Earth spotters is the strange rock formation in the prairies of central Canada that looks like the face of an Indian. The rock formation is in Alberta, Canada about 300km southeast of Calgary, near the border with Saskatchewan. The rock formation's "face" measures about 255m across and it's about 225m long. You can check it out in Google Maps or just enter 50° 0'38.20"N 110° 6'48.32"W in Google Earth.

This amazing shot was taken over Alberta, Canada. Quite clearly a face can be seen in what appears to be Native American headdress. The face has since been nicknamed the “Badlands Guardian”.

Berry Head Arch, Canada: This magnificent sea arch is located on the Spurwink Trail, along the East Coast Trail. To get to the arch, find the East Coast Trail trailhead at Port Kirwan. From here, it is about a one way hike to the arch.

John Candy (1950 -1994), was one of Canada's greatest & funniest character actors. Well-known for his roles in Uncle Buck (1989) & Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987). Born in Toronto, Ontario, Candy found his passion for drama while attending a community college. His big success came at the age 27 in the comedy group "Second City" in Toronto. Alongside such soon-to-be Canadian stars as Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, & Harold Ramis,he was also part of televisions "SCTV" (1976)

John Candy was another amazing entertainer! 'Uncle Buck' is one of my favourite movies of all time!

SCTV (Second City TV). Original cast was John Candy, Andrea Martin, Rick Moranis, Joe Flaherty, Dave Thomas, Eugene Levy, and Catherine O'Hara. Another cast member was Martin Short.

The funniest television I've ever seen: SCTV (Second City TV).
