In this activity students research Canada (you can choose to use the internet or conduct research using library or textbook resources) and fill out a graphic organizer for each of the provinces and territories. Students discover information about the provincial/territorial flag, flower, capital city, population, natural features, and fun facts. You can choose to bind the sheets into a booklet or use them individually.

Oh my gosh these are so great, you could do plant life cycles, seasons...so many things!

I see this as something you could use for ESOL students! Quadrama-Teacher used it for summarizing strategy. Also can be used for a Social Studies or Science unit.
