Hatley Castle, Colwood, British Columbia In Hatley Castle was built in a Tudor style for a British industrialist. It has since been used as a Military College during the World Wars and more recently, a University.
Bastion Square, Victoria, B.C. - located beside the old Jail (torn down in 1885); criminals convicted were hung in this square, it is also rumored to be a place where cultists on the Island frequently scout out new members - visitors & staff report seeing the apparition of a man in prison clothing who follows people and disappears, sounds of chains rattling and footsteps, light anomalies and feelings of unease
South Crescent, Port Alberni, B.C. - said to be one of the most haunted streets in Canada; located on the site of a massacre, a Native burial ground, and a pioneer cemetary - activity is reported on both sides of this long street & in the houses & businesses alongside it - apparitions are seen, voices & footsteps heard, writing appearing on walls in locked rooms, light anomalies, objects moving around on their own, vehicles malfunctioning, being touched, pushed, feelings of being watched
Beacon Hill Park in Victoria, B.C. - despite the beautiful location, there have been many accidental deaths, homicides, and suicides here - in the 1970's a woman was strangled and left in the bushes and she is still seen on the rocks pictured above, in the northwest corner of the park - sometimes she is witnesses letting out bloodcurdling screams - the odd fact here is that she is viewed as a blond to some and a brunette by others, giving her the nickname "The Screaming Doppelganger"
At the Cherry Bank Bed & Breakfast Hotel, there is the spirit of a woman who rearranges the place settings in the dining room. She is believed to be Miss Kathleen Hamber, daughter of a wealthy industrialist, who took up permanent residence in her latter years. There are reports of a girl running in the hallway. Apparently, this is the daughter of the original owner of the house. Victoria, BC
Qualicum Heritage Hotel, Qualicum Beach, B.C., Canada - Founded in 1935 as a private school for boys, but from 1979-2008 it functioned as an Inn and now sits abandoned and was listed for sale. An apparition of a young boy in a school uniform has been repeatedly seen by many in Room 453. He is also heard crying in the hallways and when people follow the sound, it always leads to Room 453. Another spirit boy is seen playing and laughing in the hallways but disappears when approached.
