This is a super cool idea! Put some objects in the bag, and let kids pull one out to tell the next part of the story! Some kids would REALLY look forward to this!

Story Bag- Place objects inside and have children draw one piece at a time and tell a story. Great practice for creative writing and possibly funny stories.

Use with the fluency rubric...Let students read a passage and recored themselves reading. Review the reading with the student...They can reread as many times as you want them to!! Kids need to hear their reading and assess their fluency. So awesome!

Let students record themselves reading a passage. They can reread as many times as you want them to in order to gain greater fluency. Students improve when they can hear their own reading, and evaluate it.

This is our old lady! I made her with a flip lid trash can. Then I found an object that goes with everything that she swallowed. I hand them out to the kids. When it comes to their object in the book, then they "feed" the old lady!

Such a cute idea! Old Lady who swallowed a fly! Make her with a flip lid trash can. When it gets to each item in the reading of the book, then kids "feed" the old lady! such a fun idea
