Watermelon Breeze Recipe: Fresh, light Summer drink made with chilled watermelon, coconut water, fresh lime and mint over ice. Think it would make a good frozen drink. Get out those ice cube trays and your blender!
Summer Sangria 1 small carton of raspberries 1 small carton of strawberries 1 lime 2 apples, granny smith and a braeburn 1 Serrano pepper (more if you are daring) 1 bottle of Viognier ½ cup of white grape juice ¼ cup sugar 1 can of club soda Mint leaves
Upside Down Orange: 1 large orange 1 small bottle vodka Remove top stem part of the orange. With a knife, gently poke insides of the orange to open up the pulps. Open vodka bottle and insert into the hole. Rest orange in a small bowl, vodka bottle side .
Wine smoothie: 1 glass white wine blended with a bag of frozen berries. The wino in me tells me to use equal parts wine to frozen berries vs a whole bag of berries to a glass of wine. Maybe even a little more wine if it's very, very cold!
Strawberry Lemonade Sangria 2 lemons, thinly sliced 2 cups strawberries, sliced 1 bottle white wine cup rum 6 oz frozen lemonade concentrate Mix all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours until ready to serve. by opal
A pinner said "Perfect summer drink! Blend 1 can frozen limeade, can sprite, 2 cups frozen strawberries, and the pulp of two limes." That sounds great, but this actually links to a recipe for a Frozen Strawberry Mojito which also sounds good.
