During the Great War, the 10th Battalion (Canadians), CEF was assigned to the 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade, 1st Canadian Division, and saw service from its arrival in France in 1915 until the Armistice. Sixty members of the battalion were awarded the Military Medal during the Battle of Hill 70, fought between the 15th and 25th of August 1917!
