World's Largest Beaver: fittingly, at Beaverlodge, Alberta. The 3000 pound Beaver sculpture, is 15 tall, 18 feet long & sits atop a 20 foot long log. This unique landmark was built in 2004 to celebrate the town's Anniversary.
Issued in 1954 for National Wildlife Week (yep! only a week) this Canada stamp features a big brown beaver (which according to the group Primus is called Wynona) although she does look sad and blue, rather than brown, here. Might just be a porcupine!
