Oct. 11, 2016, The Leighton Center Helios, Lisa Brawn, Calgary artist, has developed a herd of eight coin-operated mechanical horses into a solar powered sculptural installation. The horses, who have spent their days in front of Calgary stores such as Woolworths and Woodwards in the 1950s and 60s, have been given a new lease on life as they have been rewilded by their maker and freed from six decades worth of paint.
