A day in the classroom
Back to school
I am thankful for
Welcome Back To School
"Welcome back to school" treat bag for the kiddies with poem. Included was homemade playdoh, glitter, bubbles and a glow stick. Each piece went with the poem.
Recycled a table skirt to fit the blue and green theme. Love hiding extra things behind this skirt. The class feels "cleaner" by putting these on the tables.

Corner Reading Nooks
Kiddies are loving using my desk to make words!
Let student choose how ever they would like to do this, but they must fill up the entire apple with magazine clippings.

I Am Thankful For
Collect pine cones, glue feathers to the back and one on top, glue eyes, (could add beaks, my students didn't want to) place in bag to take home "I am thankful for.
Take coffee filters and colour with watercolour markers, spray with water. Rip pieces of coloured paper for grass and tree trunk & glue coffee filter.
Go outside, enjoy Fall & collect treasures. Have students glue them to a foam piece however they like and put a magnet on the back.
Mixing colours with coloured cubes!

Back To School
Open house, back to school.
I wrapped all items in red tissue paper and tied with green (to look like an apple). There was a homemade bookmark, a recipe, tea and a tulip seed (not shown). All had a poem to go with it.
