Fort Smith woman designs new Métis sash By SAMANTHA STOKELL, SRJ Reporter 27.OCT.09 Lisa Hudson has only weaved two sashes and one of them will now identify Métis people in the Northwest Territories. The NWT Métis Nation (NWTMN) had talked about creating a distinctive sash for years and wanted something unique for its members.
