We are promised rest in JESUS; however the first thing that must be done is that we turn from our own path; and we must call on the Lord to find strength, we must call on the Lord to find healing, and we must call unto the Lord to gain direction, wisdom and power. The promises of God can’t be fulfilled until you step up and call upon His name.
"GOD'S WORD" ~ For Deliverance. God wants us to succeed in the life He has planned for us. He knows we have many needs, temptations, and that we face a diversity of difficult situations. God, with His tremendous love, wants us to come to Him even in the most impossible of circumstances.
"GOD'S WORD" ~ He Gives Power To The Weak And Strength To The Powerless. There is something in the heart of God that rushes to the defense of those who can't defend themselves. So if you are feeling powerless today, be comforted in knowing that God gives power to the weak and those who are feeling exhausted. You are in a good place for the strength of God to be revealed in you and through you.
"GOD'S WORD" ~ Trust In The Lord With All Your Heart. We often believe that no one else could possibly know what we are going through, but God always knows because He is the all-knowing and all-present God. This means if we are committed to and trust in God with a faithful heart, He will help us through the struggles and obstacles in our paths.
"GOD'S WORD" ~ No Place Is More Secure Than To Be In God's Hands. We can look to God's safe hands to keep us from spiritual danger and defeat - that doesn't mean we'll never stumble. But it does mean we won't stumble so badly that God cannot pick us up. God's safe pair of hands can never fail - ever!
"GOD'S WORD" ~ Feed On God's Faithfulness To Find The Strength You Need. As followers of Christ, we are constantly finding our emotional and spiritual reserves drained by the challenges of life in a fallen world. In such times, we need nourishment to strengthen us. When weakness afflicts us, the reassurance of God's never-ending faithfulness can enable us to carry on. His faithful care is the nourishment we need, giving us "strength for today, and a bright hope for tomorrow."
