the bridge at night with mystery cyclist - I was planning on walking further for a clear bridge shot but noticed the sky had a lot of colour so i stopped. As I set up i could hear music. It was a cyclist with a purple light on the wheel so I waited for him to enter the shot and shot a long exposure and presto ...here it what turned out. You have to love serendipity and you can't plan everything!
sunset over Boston - Hi above Boston at sunset looking at Downtown. you can see the jets taking off from Logan on the left which will give you an idea of how high up i am. you can also see Boston's public park at the centre bottom.
foggy night at the beach with king tide - My camera is mad at me. i took it out in the pouring rain but I got this image of kits Beach almost under water. There was a king tide at high tide with ocean tide levels way above normal it was worth it. i'm just drying off now!
Vancouver city sunset and night - I drove around the city to find the right angle of view so I could capture sunset and night in the same shot. I ran with my tripod and backpack for a mile. Hey its how I get my workouts in. I took a long exposure to turn the water to glass which creates a boat blur and moving boat light which i could take out in photoshop but i like the moody effect.
city lights - City night scape panoramas require patience, timing and fast movements, plus stiching and processing which is made even more complicated by long exposures.
lions gate bridge long exposure - The traffic had just changed at sunset giving me two lanes of red streaks instead of one lane so i took this photo of the bridge while there was still sunset light.
