Vancouver has the world's longest uninterrupted waterfront path (28 km) extending from the Vancouver Convention Centre to Spanish Banks and including the original 8.8 km Stanley Park Seawall. Most of the Stanley Park portion of the wall was built between 1917 and 1971. Sites on the Stanley Park Seawall include the Lions Gate Bridge, Coal Harbour, Siwash Rock, Brockton Point, Third Beach and Prospect Point.
