The City Hall is visible on Elgin St. where that street makes an angle. The old Knox Presbyterian Church is one block south, also on the right. There is no National Memorial, which only came in the late 1930's, and no Confederation Square since the area was all built up. Also note the buildings along the canal that no longer exist.
