Whereas James ambushed Johnnie and his men and hung them on site, Adam and another Reiver on James V's blacklist, Cockburn of Henderland were arrested and taken to Edinburgh where they were beheaded.

Old Smithy marriage anvil, Gretna Green -  Gretna Green is a village in Scotland, where couples would elope to, because they could be married by hand fasting, and have it sealed by a Blacksmith. The Blacksmith would seal it by bringing his hammer down on the anvil. Also, being married in a forge would drive away the faeries, due to the cold iron.
