I define posing as taking the character and giving that character life, using the character’s WHOLE BODY to show emotion and tell the story in a split second. | In this video you can see me adjusting the original pose idea until I have something more dynamic. From the rather flat initial pose, I add more squash, then I adjust the body to create the illusion of 3-point perspective, I tilt the drawing. Finally, I tilt the character’s head.
