I saw this project last year over at Oodles of Art. We changed it just a bit. I did the project with second grade but it was quite a challenge. I let my older graders do this as a holiday bonus project!

We jumped on the Zendoodle bandwagon and my middle school students amazed me with their enthusiasm for this assignment. We divided a half sheet into six sections and created a pattern or design in each of the six with fine line sharpie markers.
