300808_2841_Saskatchewan - Wheat and Cloudss
Shot near Cabri, Saskatchewan, an hour or so before sunset. Cabri is a small town about a 45 minute drive northwest of Swift Current. The wheat looked so different to me from one field to the next. The changing clouds, light positions I stood in obviously made a difference. I love how the wheat looks even warmer here in the evening sun. www.mgreerphoto.blogspot.com
Bents' Abandoned Grain Elevator, Saskatchewan, Canada
I wish I left more room on the right when I took the picture.... I think I didn't do that because of the distortion on the sides with this lense. This is a heavily cropped, you can see a less cropped version in the comments.
Prairie grain elevators once dotted western Canada, storage for farmers crops. Now the majestic sentinals are being demolished and part of Canadian tradition is vanishing.
