Evan McKie was born in Toronto and received his dance training from Canada’s National Ballet School, The Kirov Academy of Ballet and the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany. Mr. McKie began his career at Stuttgart Ballet and was promoted to Principal Dancer 2008. In 2014, Karen Kain announced that he would be joining the company as a resident Principal Dancer.
