Normally people spend a lot of time and energy guarding their gardens against snails but the other day we saw this ingenious way to incorporate snails into the garden. Not only is it a great small space garden, but it also takes advantage of vertical space:We spotted it over at kellygreen (where we also saw these eco-friendly pots. A tiny climbing vine was planted in an empty snail shell, hung on a little chain letting the vine grow and curl up the chain.

Some unique plant pots I found hanging outside a store. I'd hate to see the size of the slugs here if the snails are this big! (these were around half the size of my fist).
