Fall is a short-lived yet vivid and stunning season in Denali National Park : Denali National Park - Alaska :

Few landscapes in the world are striking and remarkable as that of Grand Teton National Park. Rising abruptly from the ground of the valley the mountains give to visitors a testimony of the natures magnificence. But as striking as the mountains lakes and wildlife are for me it is the parks wildflowers that truly add that last subtle touch to this natural masterpiece. : @twodorseys ... #grandtetonnationalpark #grandtetons #tetons #nationalpark #nationalparkgeek #nationalparksusa…

The towering granite spires and snowy summits of Denali National Park and Preserve straddles 160 miles of the Alaska Range and display so much elevation they are often lost in the clouds. Dominating this skyline is North America's highest peak; Denali ascends majestically to 20310 feet and is one of the most awe-inspiring sights in Alaska. Approximately 400000 intrepid travelers journey to Denali National Park and Preserve each year primarily between late May and early September…

Crafted over millions of years by torrential rain battering wind and extreme temperatures Joshua Tree National Park stretches over nearly 800000 acres of rugged terrain. These landscapes which can seem deceptively barren are home to several ecosystems. Despite the harsh conditions Joshua Tree teems with plant and animal life that has adapted and thrived in the areas fierce climate. @just_julian

Ten miles long and nearly 500 feet deep Lake McDonald the largest lake in the Glacier National Park is a direct result of glacial carving. High peaks surrounding the lake all show evidence of the power of glaciers to carve even the hardest of rock. The powerful glaciers that carved the broad "u-shaped" valley that Lake McDonald sits in also carved smaller hanging valleys with wonderful waterfalls that are accessible by numerous hiking trails. @horohophoto

Even considering Utahs many impressive national parks and monuments it is difficult to rival Capitol Reef National Parks sense of expansiveness; of broad sweeping vistas; of a tortured twisted seemingly endless landscape; of limitless sky and desert rock. @utah_project

The areas around the Grand Teton mountain range and its lakes were established as a national park in 1929 in order to protect the land from commercial exploitation. There are also numerous serene lakes with deep blue pools echoing the stillness and color of the glaciers that shaped them. The wild and winding Snake River descends through the park in a rush of water and the dense forests blanketing the mountainsides provide habitat for a vast array of fauna and flora with some species dating…
