Old Fort Erie, Canada: The most common account is that of a headless man patrolling the grounds, normally accompanied by another man with no hands. During the one month siege on the American occupied fort, a soldier was getting a shave when a British cannon ball blast through the barber shop, decapitating the soldier and taking off the barber’s hands. Interestingly enough, the bodies of both a headless and a handless man were discovered several years later during an archeological dig.
