Wendover Woods, Buckinghamshire

A beautiful carpet of bluebells amidst the deciduous trees in this part of Wendover Woods. The woods here are mixed, but conifers prevail in most areas - of course the bluebells only thrive in deciduous areas.

Hellfire Caves Located just outside of West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Built around 1750 by the second Sir Francis Dashwood, the Earl of Rosse (1708-1781), they are an intriguingly named site… named after the Hellfire Club, founded by the same earl… and for more than two centuries linked with an awful lot of intrigue and ghost stories.

The Buckinghamshire Chilterns

Typical view of the gorgeous Chilterns' countryside. I've spent so much time walking around. Really love this green point of view.

Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire, England .... This is the area I lived in.

My Dad was born and grew up here as my Grandpa was based here due to his career with the RAF and later BAOC (now BA).
