A "Chef Drawer" is a deep drawer with a u-shaped cutout for visibility, kept next to the stove for tall cooking oils and sauces. Because I hate moving bottles around to wipe down the countertop 10 times a day!
Note to self.if you ever build or remodel - use recessed outlets so that the plugs don't stick out from the wall. This allows furniture to be flat against the wall. We need these at the nursing home! Plugs always getting ripped out of the wall!
