King Edward IV of England. Considered quite handsome in his day.He was the son of Richard, Duke of York, by Cicely Neville. A ladies man and fond of pleasure, he married the commoner Elizabeth Woodville, the first English monarch to marry a commoner since before 1066. He died on 9 April 1483 of natural causes.

George Plantagenet, Duke of Clarence. Brother of Kings Richard III and Edward IV. Father of Edward, the last full-blooded Plantagenet male. Accused of treason for imagining the death of his brother, the King Edward IV, and supporting the deposed Henry VI, he was executed by his brother, and as legend has it, was drowned in a vat of Malmsey wine in 1478 in the Tower of London.

Edward IV (28 April 1442 – 9 April 1483) was King of England from 4 March 1461 until 3 October 1470, and again from 11 April 1471 until his death in 1483. He was the first Yorkist King of England.The first half of his rule was marred by the violence associated with the Wars of the Roses, but he overcame the Lancastrian challenge to the throne at Tewkesbury in 1471 to reign in peace until his sudden death.

Edward IV - King from 1461 - 1470 and 1471 - Fought against his cousin, Henry VI, in the War of the Roses. He again had to fight his cousin when Margaret of Anjou invaded in but beat them again a year later.

Edward IV of England was a king of England. He was born on April 28, 1442. He was King of England from March 4, 1461 until his death on April 9, 1483. Edward was the eldest of the four sons of Richard Plantagenet, Duke of York. The Duke of York was a very powerful man, and had a claim to the throne of England. He became more popular than the existing king, Henry VI of England.
