It ended up in Yugoslavia, but has origins with the Romanovs. The Sautoir and kokoshnik were made by Bolin for Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna (née Princess Ella of Hesse; sister of Tsarina Alexandra). The cabochon emeralds in the tiara were given to Ella by her mother-in-law, Tsarina Maria Alexandrovna of Russia.
