A recipe shared with me by my god daughters grandfather. What I learned from him was to “boil” the sauce with the tofu in it, it creates a flavorful textured tofu; similar to what I was served at a favorite long gone restaurant.
We always had these at grandma’s house. This is a really basic recipe, I have seem variations with green beans, bean sprouts, shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts. It is endless to the ingredients you can add to make this your own.
