I once got to fly in, and briefly fly, a B-17G Flying Fortress and I loved this photo of a B-17G from head-on. My dad was a draftsmen working for Boeing in WWII on the B-17F and G and then on the top secret B-29 Superfortress.

The only European airworthy B-17 Flying Fortress. Officially called 'Sally B' she appeared in the film Memphis Belle hence the log that appears on this side of the awesome war bird. Based in the UK at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. I have seen this fly and she is amazing!
