"The Princess in the Forest" by John Bauer John Bauer [Swedish painter and illustrator, This gives me sooo much inspiration!

You should really do yourself a favour and whack “Arthur Rackham” into Google Images and drool over all his fantastical art. I have his illustrated “Rip Van Winkle” book but this divine missus walking beneath autumn rosehips in a dress I would rather like to own is entitled “Feeling Very Undancey”. Can you believe it? Loves it.

Arthur Rackham - "Feeling Very Undancey" (Apparently, "dancey" to the fairy folk = "happy"; the woman/fairy here is Queen Mab) - illustration for 'Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens'
