As the Committee, they issue engraved invitations, both official and honorary.  This is an honorary invitation for the Inauguration of John F. Kennedy as president of the United States on January 20, 1961.    The black and white photo is not part of the official inaugural ceremonies, but is included here as part of the set only.

President John F. Kennedy found relief from persistent back pain in rocking chairs made by P&P Chair Company of Asheboro, North Carolina.  White House upholsterer, Larry Arata, kept the rocking chairs in working order and retrieved this small fragment of one of the original JFK rocking chairs.  The bookplate belonged to Evelyn Lincoln, Kennedy's personal assistant.  Archival framed with an engraved plate.
