I loved wake-boarding as a kid. Then one day my sister died in a boating accident, and the whole thing turned monstrous. This is a really unique image though, and images like this one open up very deep caverns in my life.

Classic big-mountain photography with great composition and light make this one a winner by Whistler’s Robin O’Neill. Robin came very close to changing the crown to Queen of Storms in last year’s Deep Winter photo challenge and this shot helps explain why.
