Company Sergeant Major 325753  Harry Betts M.C. D.C.M. & Bar  1/1st Cambridgeshire Regiment. Harry won his awards for gallantry for outflanking German M.G. posts. He was the youngest CSM in the British Army during WWI. On 22nd August 1918 Harry tried to outflank another M.G. post and paid the ultimate price doing so. He is now buried in Beacon Cemetery, Sailly-Laurette.
